Today is Sankataharachathurthi. As we all know there are 32 forms of Ganapati/ Ganesha.
Taruna Ganapati is considered to be Youth form of Ganesha. He has eight arms. It is believed that worshipping to this form of Ganesha... he blesses with youth and beautiful look.
A simple 10×10 dots Sikku Kolam for a Modaka Priyan.

Happy Sharad Purnima to all. It is believed that on this day Chandra dev / moon comes with 16 kalas, and also it is believed Amrit comes from Chandra dev. The rays which falls is considered to be Amrit. In North India Rice kheer / rice pudding is prepared with rice, cow's milk, sugar. Keep the kheer covered with a strainer in the open terrace / balcony. Let the rays of moon fall on this kheer, it is offered to Chandra dev, then it is consumed as Amrit.
In South India on this day Anna Abhishekam is performed to Lord Siva. The Sharad Purnima is considered very auspicious in Hinduism.

Sikku Kolam
Kalaratri is the 7th form of Navadurga.
Maa Kalaratri is a fiercest form of Goddess Parvati. It is believed that Mata Kalaratri destroys all evil spirits, demons and negative energies.
She drinks the blood of Raktabija, every drop that gives rise to millions of demons. She carries iron hook and sword, in other two hands she carries Abhaya(courage) and Vaarada(provides boon).
She is dark as night (ratri) and rides on donkey.
I'm sharing a Sikku Kolam which is inspired by Hema Kannan ma'am's Rangoli.

Katyayini Mata is the 6th form of Navadurga. She was born as a daughter to Sage Katyayana who had performed austere penance to Goddess Parvathi.
Maa Katyayani was worshipped by Trimurthi's (Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva) and other devas on 7th, 8th &9th days of Navratri to demolish the demon Mahishasura.
Katyayini Mata is the most violent form of Goddess Parvathi and is a form of Warrior Goddess.
Today I'm sharing a Sikku Kolam with lamp design.

SkandaMata is the fifth form of Navadurga. When Goddess Parvathi because mother of Skanda/ Karthikeya she was known as SkandaMata.
It is believed that SkandaMata always carries Karthikeya on her lap. Devotees who worship this form of Goddess Parvathi gets the benifit of worshipping Lord Karthikeya.
SkandaMata is white in complexion. I've shared a white conch Rangoli with 15-8 adjacent dots. The same Rangoli I've shared earlier with colours.

Today is Third day of Navratri.
Chandraghanta Mata is a married form of Goddess Parvathi. She wears a semi - circular moon on her forehead, which looks like a bell (ghata)... she is called as Chandraghanta.
Today I'm sharing a Freehand Rangoli with a madhubani style. I learnt this Form(Madhubani Art) from Arjati Creations. A grey colour fish with Madhubani design.
