We all light deepam during Karthikai Month in the evening. I am sharing an easy Maa kolam or wet rice flour rangoli decorated with diyas.

In Thiruvanamalai ( a district in Tamil Nadu) this Karthikai Deepam is celebrated for 10 days...with 'Panchamurthi Procession' which means ( in different Vahanas Panchamurthigal procession at Kalyana Mandapam in the 'Arunachaleshwara Temple's).

Punchamurthigal means 5 God's:
Lord Arunachaleshwara( Shiva), Goddess Parvathi, Lord Ganesha, Lord Murugan and Lord Sandeswara. 

On the first day Panchamurthigal procession with Deepa-aradhana is done at the Kalyana Mandapam. ( In Arunachaleshwara Temple).
